It's a toss up for me thinking about it. Sam had respect and class in this game which means a lot to me. However, Sofia took risks and played the game smarter than Sam.
Eh, I don't know if they entirely persuaded him on their own. I got Sam very angry the morning of the eviction by telling him that you and Neda were wanting him to look like the bad guy in the whole thing. Then Sofia came running to me and was like Sam is MAD.

I mean it could have been anyone next to neda and he should have evicted them
I should have but I was not ready to make a move against half of my alliance. And I was a bit cocky I'd win hoh or pov without using the veto anyway. I should have made a move for sure
But I'm not bitter at sofia for turning on me and I'll begrudgingly likely reward her for doing so first

I do have to agree I think you should've used the Veto the round I went. Who it got used on wasn't ultimately what would've mattered I don't think.
And there is something to be said for Sam getting himself in a position where people didn't want to evict him despite his occasional inactive-ness and his competition records. I have to agree with Mike that Sofia wouldn't be anywhere near where she is now without her competition wins, so I don't really think that's a respectable thing necessarily.
Plus, we can say what we will about Sam, but at least he knew to treat people like well, people.
