To keep things less messy and more relevant to this specific subject, I've created this thread. I want to give you guys the opportunity to discuss whose gameplay you respected more, who you believe deserves more recognition and what factors you'd be looking at when making your final decision.
Without revealing who you are voting for, feel free to discuss anything you want about the finalists, including their opening statements, their answers to your questions and general feelings about them.
I can't say that I've experienced the bad Sofia treatment that a lot of you guys have went through, so obviously I'm not feeling what you guys are feeling. Doesn't mean I agree what she has done as far as treatment wise however. Though Sam not being as active on AIM like a lot of us were is not really helping his case with me either. In my opinion, he depended on comps to stay alive in this game, just like Sofia. Sofia as far as getting on AIM was a lot better than Sam. Sofia took more risks and played with no emotions which in some cases is better. I'm looking forward to reading there statements and hopefully clear up some stuff.
I feel like it has something to do with hiding the second alliance from me? I think he felt guilty from keeping it from me when he knew I would of never done any wrong to him. When he told me about the second alliance and came clean to everything, he said he would never put me in danger in the weeks to come.
Vote for the person who made constant game moves by adapting to situations and information found out. Had a good grasp of connections despite being left out of alliances. Made risky but arguably dumb moves that ended up luckily paying off. Social game was an absolute train wreck and prided themselves on being a ****
Or
Vote for the person who easily got in an early alliance that carried them deep into the game where they stepped up their competition game. They were barely reachable by fellow houseguests and easily swayed and duped because of the lack of time they had to talk. Played a much classier social game with no great moves they can truly call their own that does not have the influence of others
Pretty much. Though I think some of Sam's availability had to do with him living in an entirely different time zone, so I'm not entirely sure how much of that we can hold against him. And at least in my case some of the blame is on me for not sending him more PM's, just because I kind of dislike them in favour of actually talking.
I was on AIM 24/7 like Zach has said previously. For me he would be on around 9-10 am PST then sometimes around 2pm PST. Sometimes later if there was a competition he depended on to stay alive in the game. But there were times I would go days without taking to him because he never logged on. The last few rounds I was in the house, I had to PM him, AIM was not an option for me to contact him anymore.
Totally disagree I've played orgs with foreigners and they were on way more. Ever play with Kathleen? Sam just didn't sign on period. I'd go to work in the am and all day I'd be signed on aim from my phone and he never came on
I found PMs to be the best way to contact both Sam and Sofia. Half the time Sofia would be on AIM but be "Away/Busy" and would not reply if messaged. The PM system is available to use to communicate with people. Just because some people don't utilize it shouldn't be a reason to say someone had a shitty social game/availability. I had lots of communication through PMs.
How can anyone actually believe someone makes that decision to not sign on? Unless they troll like dixie There is a reason you all wanted to sit next to him and evict sofia. Let's not bullshit that you all don't feel you should have won over him
And yeah ik they were the slowest people all game lol
